Unlocking the Royal Geographical Society Archive, Glen Segell

This paper details a users perspective of The Royal Geographical Society (RGS-IBG) who has embarked on a project with five facets: construction and conservation at its London Archives; an on-line catalogue of its collections; digitisation of images and maps; provision of on-line fact sheets such as historical time-lines and an educational program that conforms to the National Curriculum at Key Stages 3 and 4.

3D Laser-Scanning at Merv, Turkmenistan
