Graphical interaction (synchronous)

Graphical interaction (synchronous) is one of the Synchronous Computer Mediated Communications (SCMC). Computer Mediated Communication (CMC) is defined as any communicative transaction which occurs through the use of two or more networked computers. In synchronous communications all participants are online at the same time. Audio-visual and textual interaction can also be forms of synchronous communication.

The term ‘graphical interaction (synchronous)’ refers to the process of working collaboratively upon a shared image, plan or diagram in real time using a shared image editing application (e.g. for resizing, cropping, combining multiple images, or converting between different formats).

Related methods include: Audio-Visual Interaction (Synchronous), Image enhancement and Textual Interaction (Synchronous).
