Many organisations are digitising their collections in order to provide wider access and to ensure the long-term preservation of books and documents. This day has been designed to give an overview of how to set up a digitisation project and how to handle physical library and archive items which are being digitised. The training day is led by David Jacobs, Conservation Team Leader at the British Library, and Jonathan Jackson, Senior Imaging Technician at the British Library.

Fifth international Summit on the documentation and conservation of the media arts heritage.

The DOCAM (Documentation and Conservation of the Media Arts Heritage) Research Alliance presents the 2010 DOCAM Summit, which will mark the end of five years of research. DOCAM is an international research alliance initiated by the Daniel Langlois Foundation for Art, Science, and Technology.
