Dictionary of Sydney entry for Lachlan Macqaurie

Example entity page for the Dictionary of Sydney. The page is constructed through an XML-XSLT-Cocoon pipeline using multiple elements stored as separate records in the Heurist database. The person (an entity) is related to one or more entries (an extended text, not shown here), to other entities (people, places, events, institutions etc.) and to images, sound or video. These can also be linked through specific annotations within the text of the entry. The timeline and relationships are dynamically constructed from records related to the person via a specific ontology.
